Washes in Green
I mixed some Dealer Rowney Aquafine paint in Hooker's Green Dark and used washii tape to prepare my cold-pressed 200gsm paper.
I did my vintage wash on dry paper with a wet 1/2" flat brush (synthetic Aquafine by Daler Rowney) and did the modern wash in the same way but with wet paper.
For the vintage circles I used dry paper and a wet Cosmotop mixed synthetic and natural hair brush in size 6 by Da Vinci, I created the modern wash in the other circle in the same way but with wet paper.
I created the empty space vintage wash using dry paper and a wet synthetic brush in size 2 by Da Vinci, I created the modern wash in the same way but using wet paper.
Differences I notice include the vintage washes being darker, having more visible brushstrokes and also having crisper edges (noticable on the circle and crescent moon).
