Here is scene 2, it's actually the same street but a different reference.

 

This time I've really simply ghosted the people in - this is what I mean in the class by 'spontaneous'. Adding people on top in an unplanned, different or interesting way.

 

I find it a lovely way to sketch in my people, without too much fussing around, and it keeps my Plein air sketches (especially) lively, loose and flexible.

 

I wonder what you guys think of this approach? I know, for sure, that not everyone will like it as much as I do!
