I made a quick repeat pattern from the elements I created while watching the class. I can't wait to spend more time on working this way with some more realistic botanicals. Thinking about a color palette ahead of time, making LOTS of elements instead of just a few, and thinking about different types of shapes to fill up the space evenly were all great tips.
