Wanted to get a crescent moon with Pigeon Point Lighthouse in the picture. Using TPE I set up the shot and waited for the moon to come into the frame. Got focus and then switched to manual focus and shot a series of shots of the moon dropping through the frame. This was a fun project and I like how it turned out. The Photographers Ephemeris class gives you all the tools you will need to make this shot. Also you need to be on a tripod.
Got there early and got the sun and lighthouse. Both these shots were less than 2 hours and 20 feet apart from each other.
