I stumbled upon the class and could not be happier with the result of my piece. As an artist, I am constantly challenging myself and attempting to let go more and more. This class really helped me to learn to not be so attached to a literal representation of an image. 

I found this image of a calf online, and as I painted it began to emerge with the same googley eyes that cows have when they look at you. I raised some cows here in rural Oregon, and it brought me back to that moment. The teaching really helped me have a greater understanding of my process, and how to take on a new process. 

I look forward to painting more in this style.
