Why: to raise awareness of clean drinking water in rural communities and to raise money for local water cleaning facility.

How Many: ~100

What feeling: Knowledgeable about the issue, fun exercise/social event for adults; afternoon/evening

Struggles: Finding sponsors for the event. With COVID-19 this has become even more of a struggle. This is making me feel very discouraged, but I don't really want to bother them if they are struggling with their own operations right now. Looking for suggestions on how to proceed.

Needs:

Date/Location: July 11, 2020 (Sat.) at a local golf course (already booked)

Catering: Need to make sure golf club is able to provide catering, if not, will need to source out someone else. (Also, food and drink throughout the tournament, not just lunch before golfing and dinner afterwards).

AV/Visual: Will need audio both outside and in dinner hall (for prizing and presentations). Having a representative from the charity would be ideal, to explain to guests why it is important to give to this charity.

Photographer: Should there be a photographer? Not entirely sure.

Other activities: Apart from the golf tournament itself, thinking of running other competitions such as longest drive, putting, etc. during the tournament and a silent auction at the dinner portion of the event to increase fundraising efforts.
