I used the hand drawn flowers from my previous wallpaper pattern and vectorised them in inkscape. I decided to use the bezier pen instead of trace bitmap (live trace in illustrator) to keep down the number of nodes (anchor points).

I kept them black and white with simple outlines because I love the idea of printing this pattern and hanging on the wall for myself and visitors to colour in over time.
