Kris, this is amazing! You really captured the moonlit mood! I love everything you did here, the background is excellent and I love the adorable heron and the lighting on the branches and moss. Fantastic work!

Thank Teresa! Deserves another go. The masking fluid is so viscous it doesn't want to give you smooth gentle lines and this is a good practice for control of the mask. I think I can get better with practice. The use of a metal sculpting tool  or a liner brush has been suggested.

Kris, I always have trouble with masking fluid!  I think your project turned out beautifully!I actually asked Krzysztof for some suggestions on masking fluid and he gave me some ideas that helped me immensely, because I was quite struggling. If you would like, I would be happy to pass along his suggestions! This turned out so well though,  this would be a fun one to frame!

Sure! Winter Chickadee, under Discussions, under thread from Beth C.  I followed his suggestions as well as purchasing the small rubber masking remover he uses in the lesson (similar to an eraser but firmer with texture). Suggestions were quite helpful for me. Hope this helps! Take care!
