Now that Christmas is over I can post my project.

I wanted to make an ornament for my parents as a more meaningful gift than something that I could just buy especially since this was the first year that I would be spending Christmas away from home. I chose a lightbulb because I liked how it fit with my themes of hope and progress. 

Work harder when its dark is a phrase that sums up this year for me being positive but not too positive by acknowledging that 2016 was not the best year but that there are ways to move forward even if it requires hard work.

Gifts like this might become a yearly tradition for me.
