Since the filled checklist is a multi-week thing, I am going to comment on what I did and what I found valuable, as a new creator on IG.

 

@stargliderart is a new account, just for my AI art - images, videos, music. I have been posting on DeviantArt for about an year, with OK results (3K followers, a few hundred US$ in sales). The IG account was created in January. 

 

- I usually post several reels or posts a day - whatever worked in my DeviantArt account (turned into a video if possible - these seem to work better).

- Started adding longer captions. No clue what good # would be, the obvious ones seem pointless (million posts).

- Started adding favorite stories to highlights (For whatever reason, my stories weren't being archived although the toggle was on, so I posted a few to Close Friends, then added them to highlights). Seems like a great idea - I mostly posted on DeviantArt, which has actual Albums.

- Looking into hooks, although I am not sure how it would work with what I post...

- trying to engage after posting

- have been researching other, similar creators, since DeviantArt (or back 30 years if you count my actual job as a software developer). It is useful, and I will be sure to keep looking.
