Hey Josh, thanks for sharing! I know how challenging is to work with limited equipment and especially in small rooms, so I can relate. I think I have a few ideas that could be helpful. First off, especially if you only use one light, make sure to set it at a bit of an angle from the side. Frontal lighting leads to a very flat image without much depth or shape. If you put your light at about 45 degress from the side, you will have more shape in your face with some shadows. That will already look better. The next thing is to be as far as possible away from the wall behind you. The more depth, the better and we can see that the light you use also illuminates the background which also lowers the overall contrast between you in the foreground and the background.If you get yourself a second light, maybe some lightstands and a 5-in-1 reflector off amazon, you will be able to improve your image a lot.Excited to see how you progress and thanks again for sharing!Dennis

I couldn't get the back light to work since I didn't have a long enough light tripod setup but I'll try to use the longer one next time and use my really short one for one of the side angles lights. Honestly, not the best but the lighting in my room sucks normally so better than it usually is.
