The class project is a fabric bag with natural filler that can be heated in the microwave to be used as a hot pad, or cooled in the freezer for a cold pack.
You will learn how to select fabrics, threads, and fillers. 100% Cotton fabric and thread, plus some rice are enough to get you started. But we’ll go beyond those basics if you want to get fancy with it. (★‿★)
We’ll also cover how to customize your packs with some microwave-safe specialty products.
The class includes 2 PDF resources:
- A supply list of microwave-safe materials you can use
- A safety instruction sheet you can copy when gifting or selling your packs. This includes a link to a free Canva template so you can customize your Instruction/Safety cards.
