Disclaimer: Before starting this project, determine the support required to heal. Maybe seeking professional guidance will be needed in order for you to clear, heal, and restore the deeply suppressed emotions and/or trauma.

Choose an Aspect in your life you’re currently struggling with (See reference on Life Aspects for examples in video). Ask yourself: What’s triggering or challenging you. Write that Aspect on the page as your title.

Ask yourself and write out what emotions you feel when you think of this aspect
Write what stories you hear in your head when those emotions come up? (See reference of common stories for example in video)
Does your inner critic start taking over? Write what you hear/what comes up.
What are significant memories or experiences that come up when you think about this?
What stories/beliefs have you been told that you want to be free from/release?

Write out as many stories and beliefs that come to mind until you can’t think of anything else. Keep asking yourself: Why do I believe that? Where is that coming from? What’s under that story/belief/emotion?

Allow any emotions to come up without judgement. Love yourself through this process and honor any and all feelings you have because they are valid.

What emotions/themes do you see coming up frequently throughout the stories?
Write about what might these themes and patterns be drawing you deeper towards?

How you see your outer world reflects the beliefs, emotions, and feelings within/about your inner world. Coming within to find the root cause will not only change your inner world, but your outer world as well.

Examples:

Feeling stuck in your career path - Stuck-ness inside self

Hurting in a relationship/friendship - Hurting in relationship with self

Money not flowing - Inner world isn’t flowing

Write the core belief at the bottom of the page. Finding the core limiting belief is the root to all the stories you’ve been listening to.. This core belief has stemmed from childhood, usually coming from mom or dad.

Detaching from the core belief allows you to plant new seeds of empowerment.

Creating I AM statements, writing from the heart, and feeling strong and empowered while doing it. Positive, self loving, compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, seeing the higher perspective, etc. all come with this stage in this lesson.

Growing above this limiting belief, the old baggage to finally feel lighter, stronger, and gain a sense of maturity and love for self and life. What’s the next best feeling you can feel when you experience a trigger. (See reference for emotions scale in video)

If it’s anger, At who? Maybe write a letter to them. When you’re turning it around, and affirming the new, think about incorporating Acceptance, Forgiveness and Love into your journal entry.

If it’s about money, write out your stories around it and what your relationship with money is. What do you want your relationship with money to be? Write with emotion. How does that feel? Then write about specific times money was there for you.

If it’s about relationship with self, What beliefs are you holding onto that are degrading your inner self? Write a love letter to yourself and say it out loud while looking in the mirror with your shoulders back and head up.

Speak your affirmations out loud until you FULLY believe them. It will take a while to reprogram those beliefs and change them into ones that feel good and strong. Don’t get upset or mad at yourself if it’s taking a while to fully believe your affirmations. It takes time, but don’t give up and fall back into the old patterns. You can change your beliefs. Anyone and everyone can you just have to believe it to be true.

Catch yourself whenever your inner critic tells you ‘that’s not true’, or ‘that’s just silly’. You have the power to take control over your thoughts and choose what you want to believe.
