Hurray! It’s time for a GIVEAWAY!!

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been five months since my last giveaway. These months have been the strangest of any I have yet to experience. My family and I care very much about the health and safety of those around us, so we make sure to take all the steps we can to look after each other. Please stay safe everyone!

As many of you are already aware (especially if you’re following me on Instagram), I have been quite busy these last few months making my own watercolours. It’s been an interesting experience, and a very educational one, as I work to sort out the right recipes for each colour pigment (and believe me, they are all different!). I chose professional pigments that I prefer to work with as an artist, and they aren’t the easiest to mull by hand, but I felt it was worth the effort. These are the colours I was looking for in a professional set, but could not seem to find. So I made my own. The feedback has been positive so far and I’m so pleased that others are enjoying them as well!!

So, all that being said, Humbug and I would love to share a gift of these handmade watercolours with you, and hopefully brighten you day! We can all use a bit of cheerfulness just now! :) You can win this dot card of my Mixing Set colours, it has 6 basic colours, all professional pigments. They are easy to rewet and nice and lush! Feel free to share the news of this giveaway in your Instagram stories, but I don’t always get notifications about those, so that’s a wildcard, I guess! It helps if you tag me properly in the story, with the ‘mention’ feature (rather than just typing it out), but even that doesn’t always show up. The ones I see, I’ll count (if you’ve done steps one and two), and you’ll know I’ve seen it if I respond with a “thumbs up” emoji :) Posting in your feed works better, if you have a public account. I am not on Instagram every single day, a story only lasts 24 hours, so it may be missed. Just trying to be as open as possible.

Here’s the rest of the details:

You will win, as previously stated, one dot card of my handmade watercolours, from my Mixing Set. It contains dots of 6 professional pigment watercolours (not for children!). These are all single-pigment colours, no added fillers and extenders.

The giveaway runs for the entire month of August, 2020. The winner will be announced in September. This is an international giveaway, run only by me, and not affiliated with Skillshare or Instagram.

One final note:

It’s a fair bit of work to manage a giveaway like this, checking each person's work here on Skillshare and Instagram, and making sure I’ve not missed anyone. I am just one woman, also busy with regular life things, just like you. I am a wife and a caregiver, and I’ll be giving something away that has taken me hard work to figure out and create as well as covering the shipping and handling expenses.
