I am so excited to finally share with you a part of my world and my love for the beauty of the island of Bali in the wonderful medium of watercolors.

I am going tell you just a few stories about my life and creative journey.

Milestones:

I published 12 bilingual children's picture books by PT Grasindo in Jakarta.

I certified myself in Art based therapy and special needs education and opened my studio

I have painted and indulged in something creative ever since I was a young girl and so when I needed a change from writing I automatically gravitated towards my first love - watercolors.

After moving to Indonesia I wrote and illustrated 9 bilingual picture books and spent many years promoting the synchronised folklore of India and Indonesia in schools through my books.

As my painting journey meandered the one constant awareness was the therapeutic effects of art. I began reaching out what I strongly believed in to bring it to others. So in 2018 I accredited my self in Art Based therapy and marched out with my portfolio in hand. In my art based therapy sessions I personalise my worksheets besides teaching art techniques.

Why I chose the theme of Bali:

After living in Indonesia for nearly three decades I have travelled to the most magical island of Bali at least 25 to 30 times.

I want to share with you all in a set of classes the beauty of the landscape as well as the polite and spiritual Balinese people. Stay with me through the Balinese themed classes and learn not only to paint but also the culture of Bali.

At first I will ask you to study the anatomy of the flower in a sketching class and then we begin painting the layers. In this class I am bringing to the most beautiful Plumeria flowers from the island of Gods Join me and learn how to paint the softness of the turned over petals.
