Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my profile. I’m a user experience (UX) designer currently in Raleigh, North Carolina. I wandered into graphic design and, through a friend, was introduced to “Don’t Make Me Think” by Steve Krug. That book opened my eyes to the whole (new to me) world of usability! I fell in love with the idea and decided, “Yes, this is it! It’s what I want to do!”

Later, I earned a Masters from the University of Baltimore in Interaction Design and Information Architecture (a fancy way of saying “UX design”). Soon after, I started as a UXer working at agencies and in-house design teams for enterprise apps.

I absolutely love UX and enjoy sharing ideas and my passion with others. So, I founded a meetup "exploreUX" - a forum where people could learn about UX topics and talk shop with other enthusiasts. I also enjoy speaking about UX at conferences, meetups, and school group visits. My talks range from “What is UX?” to UX career development and to specific topics like accessibility and localization.

Outside of UX, I love homemade ramen, YouTube cooking shows, scuba diving, and biking on the Raleigh greenways.
