I've been having a blast the past couple of days whilst developing the content of the next course, which will be a combination of very basic modelling and Blender's fabulous drawing and animation toolset: Grease Pencil.

Finally I'm able to bring my illustrative style into 3d thanks to this amazing tool: Slap together some 3d geometry, then get busy graffiti-ing all over it with Grease Pencil!

Grease Pencil objects can act as containers for 2d animations. Think of the mouth on the front of the car, animated like an old fashioned cartoon! The combination of simple geo, Grease Pencil, and Eevee render sure smashes down some barriers for people who've dreamed of making their own animated shorts or cartoons or movies.
