Your project:

Get familiar with the pattern design workflow by creating your own presentation, which will include Moodboard, Repeats, and Mock-ups.

These are general steps, as I will walk you through everything in the video lessons:

Find your inspiration.
Make some moodboards! Post to your Skillshare Project!
Gather your elements and motifs. Time to draw, paint, or collage! Also time to go element shopping if you want!
Open your elements and pull them into an Adobe Library. At the same time, grab your color palettes from your mood board into Adobe Library using Adobe Capture.
Adobe Capture - make some fantastic geometric prints super-fast! It’s like a kaleidoscope, and it does the work for you. Share in your skillshare project!
With Pattern Preview initiated, start moving your elements around to create a really nice repeat.
Using the PS Seamless Extension, create several textures to use in existing prints or as solo “non-print” prints. Post them to your Skillshare Project!
Hero Print -Get this bad boy going! Share what you create to your Skillshare Project!
Save, save, save.
Start putting your awesome repeats into mock-ups. Share to your Skillshare Project!
Adjust and tweak your repeat so it’s pretty! Maybe make colorways. I LOVE colorways, they look great in projects.
Create a presentation to share in your project, or just polish and re-order the things you've already uploaded to your project into something beautiful. :)
