When I was young (sounds like ages ago, but it's not further back than the 80s and 90s) doodling during phone calls was normal. Nothing much else to do. Besides listening and talking of course. Because your phone was tied to the wallwith a cord.

With Timothys exercise I was threwn right back to those days. Wow! And what's more, I found that I kind of missed it, because it's a nice way to emty your mind.
