It's that time of the week again where we announce the release of our latest course titled below...

''Procedural Texturing For Materials In Blender 2.92 And Beyond-Create And Material That You Want''

In this class we learn about using the node system to begin designing our own textures, shapes and patterns to be applied to the materials that we create. the skills that we learn in this course will allow us to begin building our own portfolio of textures for use in our projects.

We focus on each node in great detail, making sure that the student has a clear understanding of the where, when, how and why of using a specific type of node.

This is a great class to take alongside our other course on using nodes to procedurally create objects using the geometry node editor, helping you to build up a truly procedural skillset.

Like our geometry course, this is one of our progressive course meaning it will receive updates and new content on a regular basis. Speaking of which.....

Geometry Nodes Update

By the end of the day the following three lectures will be added to our geometry nodes course:

Changing our distribution method to prevent instances from overlapping
Creating a vertex group to control where the instances are positioned
Using the weight paint tool to paint vertex groups for distributing points

All of these will be added to the section on point nodes towards the end of the course.
