CLASS PROJECT - Review the below steps to complete your project!
Project Steps: 1. Survey Your Current Space
-
Take a look around your current painting area.
-
Ask yourself:
- Does this space inspire me to paint? -
Take a "before" photo of your space as it is now.
2. Reflect and Plan
-
If your space doesn’t feel inspiring yet, decide what adjustments you want to make.
-
Think about small changes that could help — like clearing clutter, improving lighting, or adding a cozy touch.
3. Set the Mood
-
Bring a welcoming feeling into your space:
- Light a candle, turn on calming music, or open a window for fresh air — whatever makes the space feel more inviting to you.
4. Optimize Your Space
-
Create zones if needed:
- A zone for painting
- A zone for administration (like planning or sketching ideas)
- A cozy zone for sipping coffee or taking creative breaks
5. Optimize Your Painting Time
-
Identify the best times of day or week for you to paint.
-
Set up your studio so it’s ready for you to dive in when inspiration strikes.
6. Capture Your Transformation
-
Once you’ve made your changes, take an "after" photo of your refreshed studio space.
-
Show how even small adjustments can create a big shift in inspiration!
7. Share Your Project
-
Upload your before-and-after photos to the Project Gallery.
-
(Optional) Add a few sentences about what you changed and how the new setup feels to you!
Reminder: This project isn’t about having a “perfect” space — it’s about creating a place that feels welcoming, personal, and supportive of your watercolor journey. Small changes can make a big difference!
