There are many options for adding beads to wire, and this is a fun way to add that texture by stringing the beads on the band of the ring itself.
Check out this tutorial for a way to add beads that have small holes.

The trickiest part of this design is making sure that the wrap doesn't slide on the band of the ring! Take your time experimenting with keeping the coil in place by using your chain nose or nylon jaw pliers.
Change up the design by adding more beads, or by using fewer beads. Make it unique to you!
