For your class project, you’ll create a beautiful gouache painting of a white briar rose, using the step-by-step techniques we cover in class. Before starting the final piece, we’ll begin with a simple practice sheet to warm up and explore key gouache techniques together.
Materials:
Here are the materials I’ll be using in this class, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand:

Gouache Paints (Any brand works — I use HIMI Jelly Gouache)

Toned or White Watercolor Paper (A6 size or larger)

Brushes (One round brush and one flat brush will do just fine)

Water container & mixing palette
Getting Started:
