If your looking to create engaging social content and havent explored the world of sound design, then this class is for you.
Smit has been create video content for over 5 years and in that time has used sound design to help his content stand out, from illustrations, food content and story telling. Sound design has been a crucial part in making great content.
In this class you'll learn:
- Smits's 3 step approch to building out the sound design of any projects
- Tips to help all the sounds mix together
- How to decide on sound choices
- The best effects to add to your sound effects
You will be creating:
A short piece of content of your own using the techniques and skills learnt in this class
Even if you are new to sound designing, this is a simple and easy to follow way to get started in the world of sound design

Hey, I'm Smitesh Mistry a Graphic designer and Illustrator. I like to create content that is fun and abstract that conveys a message.
During the day i am at work designing all sorts for stuff from online to print, In my spare time I enjoy learning new skills, drawing or planning my next video for my youtube and instagram page.
I plan to make many more skillshare classes on how to get started in certain aspects of design for the beginner or the intermediate wanting to improve your skills.

Your class project will be to sound design a piece of content you are working on, or can even download stock footage to practice.
Feel free to use any editing software of your choice and source your sounds from your desired location. I will be using Premiere pro and epidemic sounds for this class.
To get started in this class you will need to have a few clips ready and loaded into your timeline with some basic knowledge of the editing software you will be using.
Sharing your work
Please share your work final edit along with a screenshot of your timeline in the class project section below. I would love to see what you create and give any feedback if needed.
