My 10 year vision: (age 36)
I wake up today with an intense feeling of gratitude. I am exactly where I want to be. My lover is sleeping soundly beside me and we have just adopted our first child. Life is beautiful. I am in the home of my dreams! We have designed it to be both modern and vintage with plenty of cozy wooden accents. We have a massive, inviting kitchen and have friends and family over at least once a week for gourmet meals made fresh from our garden. Most of our house is run from solar power and we have minimal waste as we compost and recycle. We have a beautiful view of the ocean and the house’s open-design concept allows us fresh air and plenty of natural sunlight. I walk to my garden sanctuary where I have created a meditation space for my morning moment of appreciation. After my daily yoga and meditation, I water the plants and get ready for another amazing day. I am more spiritual and intuitive than ever before, unencumbered by limitations.
I feel blessed to have such a fulfilling career. My business is run with a mission to remind others of the powerful healing potential within their bodies. I serve to reconnect people with their mind, body and spirit by reconnecting them to their food. I use graphic design and photography to create strong visual campaigns. I give talks in countries worldwide; however, at this point I do most of my work from home. This gives me time freedom, and allows me to work on the expansion of my charity and the growth of my family. My brand and blog are very well known; I use this popularity and my strong social network for philanthropic efforts.
I continue to indulge in photography and adore taking pictures of my family and my beautiful natural surroundings. When my family is not at home we are spending time at our cozy island cottage. In the next few years I hope to set plans in motion to write my own book and create a documentary. I plan to travel to 10 new countries per decade, adopt more children and maybe have a few of my own =)
"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back-- Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now."
