streets of vancouver

1. For my first candid portrait I was walking up Nelson St towards Granville. It was right when the sun was going down and it had been foggy all week which always makes for a great moody shot. I noticed this guy walking in front of me in the black jacket and all the cars lined up with their headlights in the wet heavy fog that is always hanging around vancouver, I thought it'd make a great shot, which it did.

2. This 2nd candid portrait is done at night. This is a local street artist who does chalk paintings on sidewalks all over the city. I caught him outside the Hudson Bay Company on Georgia St. I like how the light from the store window is shining almost perfectly on his art work and the detail on the building in the foreground adds alot of character to the shot.
