This second attempt went much better than the first.
I used between 1/4 and 1/2 teaspoon of Wilton brown gel color to get this light brown shade.
I felt more confident pouring the hot sugar into the mixer but it is a challenge.
I think I could have mixed the batter a little more. They sat air drying for 30 minutes before baking.
I'm going to fill them tomorrow ready to impress my family on Wednesday when we have a birthday celebration.
