this is my hand drawn map of how to get to Milk and Honey Cafe from my house in Santa Ana.

I took the quiz and scored 55% -  hahah. 

I was also considering making a map of super mario world

but more realistic.or...

this image inspired me to make a map of my boyfriends road trip around the US.

• Why am I making this map? for fun, and perhaps for a gift for my boyfriend
• Why am I the expert to create this map? i love going to cafes in oc. if i make the roadtrip map: he loves talking about this trip. 
• Who is my target audience? my boyfriend 
• Do I want my final project to be printed or digital? How is going to be used/held? What other constraints do I need to keep in mind moving forward? the final project would be printed. 
  
• What level of detail do I need to include? (Names, addresses, contact info, street names, website, hours, descriptions, color coding, etc.) cafe map: street names, illustrations. shop names

Here is my Imaginary map- of the freeways that go through orange county. Wouldn't it be fun to bestuck in traffic if our freeways were rivers?? we wouldn't be in such a rush... or maybe just white water rafting... which is more fun than sitting in traffic.... (never done it, but anyting is more fun than traffic)

So idecided to do my favorite cafes in orange county... there is so much more to explore!

I'm planning to make my map of cafes in the form of Latter Art, but i'll be watercoloring it.

I'm still working on it and will submit sometime tomorrow! so sorry it's late!! or shall i say "latte"

Here is my final project :) enjoy! 

This watercolor was a lot harder than i thought! As simple as it looks the latte art was hard to make look sorta real. 

anyway, you are looking at a 11x7.5 inch watercolor canvas inspired by my favorite cafes in orange county...and latte art! Latte art is pretty complicated, so i went the simple route to try and re create it with watercolor, let alone make it look like a map, especially on such a small scale. I'm happy with the results!
