On June 17th I will be embarking on a journey in Wyoming which involves a mixture of canyoneering, rock climbing, and river travel. This will be 67 days in the wilderness and that means my fitness level needs to be pretty high. I also need to learn as much as I can about nutrition, and practice pacing myself to conserve energy when necessary. My goals should be:
1. Lose weight. My target weight is 190 pounds. That will be 35 pounds.
2. Increase endurance. The target pace is 9 minute mile over 10 miles.
