feels like...

I've added a small little bit of functionality to the time portion. If you press and hold you get a mini menu that will allow you to jump to a time of day instead of per hour, so you can get an idea what it will be like at night without having to press the plus button a bunch of times to get there. I can keep tweaking and thinking about things forever! This has been a really fun process and has really got my juices flowing and my thought processing functioning in a different way. Great class!

Here are all of the screens I've done together.

I've started skinning my wireframes and here's what I have so far. I know there are some things unfinished and still need some tweaking but here it is so far...

I've never made an app before, so this is a work in progress. I've had a few more days to think about the project and catch up on the lectures. Here are my wireframe so far. I've named my app "feels like..." because as I mentioned earlier, the weather here in Toronto is never what it seems. I'm more interested in what it feels like outside, than what the actual temperature is :) I've kept the fuctionality and content simple, there is a left and right button (right now it's an arrow) so you can flip an hour ahead of the current time (and back if you've moved at least an hour ahead already). I at first thought of a slider, but realized that many of you have already done that, so I figured I'd try something slightly different. We'll see how it comes out in the design stage. A left or right swipe brings you to you other location selections. Next is skinning it!

WIREFAMESHi everyone! I just joined this class today, so I'm a bit behind! I wanted to throw something up quickly today just so it keeps me motivated to stay moving forward with the rest of you!

I want my app to be really simple, clean (don't mind the sloppy sketches) and easy to read to get the information that I look for when I look at a weather app.

What is it like right now, what is it going to be like a little later, and what is the rest of the week going to be like, no matter if I'm home or going away somewhere . Living in Toronto, the weather is never what it seems, it's either colder because of the wind chill, or hotter due to the humidex, so having a "Feels Like" display is also really important to me! I didn't want to add any of other things that I find a bit distracting and clutter up the space. To me a weather app should be in and out, get my info quickly and easily and get outside! Or...grab an umbrella :)
