efface / chair

I'm late to the game here but I enjoyed Roman's other class so much I thought I'd try this one!

The words I chose are EFFACE + CHAIR.

Word/concept exploration:

Then I got stuck on the concept of the feeling of sitting down on a chair and falling through to another dimension. Similar sensation to sitting on a toilet seat when the seat is up.

Cracked me up, so I went with it.

And here are the inky layers and textures.

And the final piece combined digitally and with color. This was a quick one. Could use a lot more love, but it's all there!
