The final version. Think I want to spend  bit more time tidy things up in illustrator but I think I'm pretty happy that this is heading in the right direction... Thanks Martina for the great class, so many useful tips for the future!

Update!

So many attempts to get this right. I worked on some of the comments I got, so tried out a long swooshy cross bar on the 't' and played around with a capital E for some extra flourish fun. Still needs a fair bit of work when it's digitised but definitely an improvement on earlier versions! Think I probably could have experimented a bit more, I seem to have got stuck repeating the same things over and over to get them to work rather than trying something totally different. Lots to think about for future projects.

To this, ready for Illustrator pen tool practice (want to try and make some of those uniform looking thick down strokes be a bit more dynamic):

After a lot of experimentation (never written my name so much!) I think this is the one I'm going to develop further

Some handwriting practice - so good to just write and write, it's been a while!
