This was a great course! Looking through all my drawings I feel so happy and proud, the messages are so reassuring. The first 2-3 days I used the prompts, but since I also do yoga every day I got most of my inspiration from my yoga practise so I skipped the prompts after that.
I have never done a challenge like this before and in the beginning I would always feel a lot of resistance and a bit anxious because I didn't like how my drawings turned out. But forcing myself to sit down every day for a month to draw has taught me to ease off on the self-criticism and just do it. It makes drawing every day seem less daunting, and I feel more freedom when I draw now. And looking back at my drawings I don't even think they're that bad anymore! I will definitely continue with a daily art practise.
PS: I also want to add that if anyone else struggles with self-criticism to the point where it stops you from wanting to create/feeling really anxious, then I highly recommend looking up Dr Kristin Neff's work on self-compassion. I was reading her book and doing her excercises alongside this workshop and it really helped me to stop being so self-critical and actually enjoy the experience :)
