consistency is key!

I love working out, and I love food. Unfortunately I have a terrible tendency towards inconsistency and although I might be super otivated and energised by a new workout, training for a race or tracking my calories and macros, I oftern find that after a month or two, or after whatever race I've trained for is over, I just stop. I travel a fair bit for work and let the disruption of travel disrupt my work out habits. I am also impatient and get easily discouraged when I feel that my efforts don't seem to be paying off as quickly as I feel they should. I would like to overcome some of these issues of impatience and inconsistency!
