coffee is my cup of tea

Since I post 2 sketches on"  Hand Letterring I ", I have not got the feedback yet, so I decided to pick one of my favorite to go ahead with the following process.

I have a question about the the uniball pen (ub - 150) of Marry suggested for inking, I found that the tip is bit too think, so I changed back to my artline pen 0.2 for this inked drawing.

Here is the inked drawing:

Here is the digitized drawing, I made a few corrections on the lines of shadows so that it doesn't look so stiff, reduced the size of the word " IS MY", also made the second layers for the coffee cup.

I tried some color variations, basicly I went back to my mood board, the blue green and pink color palette on the vintage tea packaging that I would like to go for,  I like the pastel color  of " color 2 "  but it seems too pale, so I hope to get your feedback before before I try and add some texture on it.

Color 5

I like the surface of old vintage tin packaging, so I tried to use tape to make some textures out of the printed black paper, but unfortunately my printer has a problem which has some equal and repeated lines, so I ended up using the photo of distressed metal as the background texture. Also I made some ink washes for the letter textures.

So here is the final version with color and texure.

The 2nd color that I only made the background texture, keep the letters and illustration more smooth and flat for different look and feel, so it is not too distressed.
