You Can Sew a Straight Line!

A class teaching the very basics of sewing. Make a handy tote bag while learning how to use your sewing machine. This class is full of tips and tricks for beginners - you'll be sewing in a straight line in no time!

Step-by step, easy to follow instructions will show you how to thread your sewing machine, wind a bobbin, use straight stitch to sew seams and neaten raw edges, along with nifty tricks to help you achieve your goal of sewing in a straight line.

This class is geared towards the absolute beginner. No prior knowledge is required.

My aim is that on completion of this class an absolute beginner will be able to use their sewing machine confidently to complete basic seams - the foundation of machine sewing.

This will be the first in a series of skill- and confidence-building sewing classes aimed at the beginner sewist.
