The Pisco Sour

- 2 oz pisco

-1 oz lemon/lime juice

- 3/4 oz simple

- 1 egg white

-bitters

I struck out on the first try. The egg white didn’t foam and I was left with a tasty, but not very pretty drink. Upped the shake on the second go ‘round and did much better. Not sure how to do the fancy garnishing w/ the bitters and I probably will need to crack a million more eggs to do it with one hand. Nonetheless, take 2 was a beautiful and well balanced cocktail. Cheers!

The Pisco Experiment

-pisco

-lemon

-simple

-blackcurrent syrup

Since I didn’t have limes, I did my Pisco experiment first with what I had in house. Not sure if I should have shaken or stirred (so I opted for shake). It was more balanced than I expected, but still a bit too sweet. Next up the classic Pisco Sour (after I get me some limes of course). Stay tuned...
