Hooray! A friend of mine was able to help me with my file and save it! Here are my 2 watercolor patterns in 2 different but similar colorways.
Well I had the very unfortunate event of my watercolor Illustrator file becoming corrupted. I was able to open the file in Photoshop to make a png, however, it's not the final version that I was most pleased with. Sadly, I will have to start from scratch building out my patterns again. Here is a little peak as to what I started with. I know I wont finish by tonight, but I had fun in the workshop. It's been fun watching the progress of fellow classmates!
I've vectorized my watercolor motifs :)
Here are my little paintings, cheers!
Here is my first draft of motifs. I'm having fun with it playing with some crazy colors. I can't tell if I like the black outline or no outline, so I've done a few of both. Live tracing was fun too!
I'm enjoying seeing everyones creations!
Here is my mood board/collection of photos for our first assignment in Workshop #2.
There isn't much to look at in nature in the cold city of Chicago these days. I did the next best thing and found some old photos and took a trip to the grocery store and snapped some photos of flowers in the floral department! Desperate times huh? I'm excited to be here and see what everyone creates!
