Though I had a general idea of how I wanted the letterforms to look, I worked through a few different ideas before I landed on the final style.

VECTOR

This one definitely ended up using more points for each letter (looks very busy with all the handles shown). Plus I had to stray from only using horizontal and vertical bezier to get some of the specific curves I wanted (particularly in the capital letters). But I think it worked out for the end product.

FINAL

Pulled a photo off Unsplash, modified my vector version a little bit, rounded some edges, added texture, and here it is! The finished product.
