Winterjam in Kansas City 2015

These images are from last year's Winterjam in Kansas City. It was a wonderful (and challenging) experience for me as the biggest show and venue that I've shot in the couple of years that I've focused on shooting more live music photography. I think I captured a lot of great images for my portfolio, and I offered the management company that runs the tour web-sized watermarked images from the event at no charge. They requested high-resolution watermark-free images, which I was happy to sell to them, but they refused to purchase them because I had signed a waiver beforehand stating that I would not sell the images. I guess I had assumed that they meant I wouldn't sell the images to anyone else, but they intended to be sure that I made no money at all by shooting the show (lesson learned). I did not give them the high resolution images, but I am still wondering how to make any kind of money shooting shows. For now, I just do it for the love of music and photography, but it would be nice to make a little cash here and there.  :)
