While I don't like the finished product for my first piece, there are a couple of spots/techniques that I love in it, so it's still a win. I joined SkillShare not only to learn but to challenge myself. Since I gravitate naturally toward the style on the second piece (basically, I have trouble making things that look like things and trouble being delicate), I knew this first piece would be a challenge, but a challenge I wanted.
The second piece I really like a lot, and it's a great reminder that I don't have to fill the page! This style is more like what I do naturally, so of course it came out better. ;) I included the tools I used in the picture: a chain, a small mixing spatula, a cuticle pusher, a palette knife, and a really crisp angle brush that was still stiff from the last time I washed it.
I really enjoyed both classes I've taken from you. Your voice is calming and you're style is relaxed, but I've learned skills and had a great time creating. Thank you :)
