Problem Hypothesis: If we unfamiliar with a specific domain area, it’s hard to identify what’s the best advice / resources to get started.  

Customer Segment: Newbies looking for niche information

Solution Hypothesis: Experienced practitioners provide responses to user submitted questions.  Respondents determine appropriate fee to pay once answer is provided.

Assumptions about Users:

  • Newbies will appreciate getting advice from experienced practitioners

  • Users are willing to pay for curated content assuming there is no upfront risk to them when it’s provided by a practitioner (even thought there are lots of free Q/A forums)

  • Fees paid will provide profit over cost of collecting the content

  • Riskiest Assumption: Users are willing to pay for curated content assuming there is no upfront risk to them
