Weekly Exercise Routine --> Firefighter Pull-ups

I've been running a few miles on a pretty regular basis and while I need to work on that -- (specifically, rather than running duration work on upping my distance and speed), what I really want to start working on is weight training. It ain't easy -- the guys at the gym are pretty intimidating. But it's even tougher being at the station at home and being looked at as that-kid-who-can't-pull-her-weight. (I doubt that's how they actually see me, but god forbid I ever let that happen.)

-=Weight Training=-

  • Figure out a three sets of weight exercises that I can rotate through over the course of the week
  • Tackle the pull-up machine
  • By summer be ready to try it in gear

  • Figure out which machines in the gym are measuring in km and which are measuring in miles.
  • Set weekly increashing goals

I'm also training for a Tough Mudder in six months, and it's time to start figuring out how I'm going to do that workout!
