Hello there - I'm designing the invitations for our October wedding. I think illustrating our names will be a nice touch, "Georgia Elaine to Ryan Jacob Gilmore." I plan to order a custom stamp of the final design and ink in white to stamp onto dark blue invitation paper. I'm attracted to typefaces with thin weights, but I should probably avoid anything too thin if I want this stamp-plan to work.

Over the past few days I've browsed Pinterest and Veer Fonts for inspiration. The hardest thing was finding a capital 'G' that I liked. Today I worked on a sketch name by name:

I need to get my hands on some tracing paper so I can work on the layout. I'm not entirely sure how I will go about fitting this on a vertical 5" x 7" just yet...

I came up with a rough layout and traced the lettering in Illustrator. Here's where I've ended up

I may need to make some adjustments so there's enough room for wedding invitation info...
I made some tweaks. Here's how the invitation stamp is starting to lay out.

Keep tweaking..I'd better order this stamp soon so I can stoppit! :)
