We Don't Negotiate with Terriers

We Don't Negotiate with Terriers

Updated Jan, 18th 2013

When I bought my first house in Oakland, I knew I wanted a big, honkin' pitbull. My husband though did not want a dog AT ALL. The compromise was for us to foster some dogs who were at risk at shelters so I could have the joy of dog-ownership, while not being tied down for 15 years. We fostered about a dozen dogs before my husband fell in love with a little, 15 pound, wirehaired terrier mix (he syas he just thought she was clever and he wanted to make me happy - but I know it's love).  For my project, I will build a website that celebrates my little rescue dog, Boo, and encourages others to experience the joy of adopting or fosting a rescue pet.
