Watercolor to Vector Experiments

I have been painting with watercolors consistently for more than a year and decided it was time to put them to good use other than keep them in sketchbooks, so this class is a perfect starting point.

I don't have any mood boards or pencil sketches. I just had a quick look through my watercolor scketchbooks for inspiration. And yes, some of them are also inspired by Yao Cheng's class on creativebug.

I also tryed painting the elements on hot pressed paper because I had heard they scan better. This is my scan. Not too happy with it. I may try photographing my artwork next time and see how that works.

And this is the first card I made to try out my not so well scanned elements. I like the final result though.

The fonts are HoneyCream and Boho Script Drop.

And the final project. I ended up making it a Valentine's card set since we are just 2 weeks before Valentine's Day.

Thank you. I learned a lot from this project. It was also not overwhelming and I love the final result.
