Watercolor Methods

Watercolor Methods - student project

I chose a different route with these exercises and made two similar combo images rather than individual exercises.

For the first one, I combined using a small brush on hot press paper (I only recently purchased this paper and hadn't tried it out yet.) I planned the painting by drawing out the flowers, stems, and leaves and then made it colorful, using a wet on wet technique.

For the second painting, I used a big brush on cold press paper. I went improv using one color (monochromatic) paint using wet on dry technique. The paint color was also one I recently purchased and am loving the color- Quinachridone Gold.
