Watercolor Joy

Watercolor Joy - student project

This was a super useful and wonderful class to learn the ropes of watercolor lettering! Peggy, many thanks to you, for sharing different techniques and explaining everything to the letter!

I was finishing the flower wreath and thinking that writing something with the same watercolors would be so nice when I realized there should have been something on Skillshare.... And yay! This class was just in in time! :)

Practiced with the alphabet, instead of Tombow water blending used watercolor pencils in the word 'grass'. Turned out to be alright! :)

A great hack with salt is a nice tip for showing snow on some winter sketches! Will definitely use it in the future!

Then I decided to try color blending with "Joy". And here is what I've got! :)

I was first putting some water onto the paper, then the pigments, one after another. Watercolor Joy - image 3 - student project
