Watercolor Artist - student project

I've uploaded two sets of 5 photos, only because I choose to highlight not only my art on my IG feed, but also the lifestyle as an artist that supports it. You can check out the rest of my feed on Instagram as @jillgustavisart.

I try to keep the lighting to natural daylight tones, whether with window lighting or my daylight bulbs in my studio, with the only exception being when I'm in our living room, which is always dim, warm light, but also apparent that it's separate location.

Now, I'd of course love feedback on what everyone's impressions are and any advice/suggestions to enhance the presentation of the art, but just as a side note, I'm not overly concerned with super homogenizing the look of all my posts. Since I mostly do art as secondary to my full-time job (not too business-y right now) and my art philosophy is sort of "life as it is", with an emphasis on the natural world, I currently tend towards thinking a little variety make the feed look lived-in, and in line with my practice. Wabi-sabi I think the phrase is. But I'm of course open to a second opinion or interesting suggestion. :)

Thanks for checking them out in advance!

The first set of 5 is the type of posts where I showcase my art. Backdrops are my desk, our wooden floors, or our coffee table. We have an old house, so I like to showcase the warmth of the materials, using wood surfaces. There are a few posts on my feed that have white backgrounds, or are cropped to the edge of the art, but they are the minority.

The second set of five are the type of posts I share focusing on the process or supporting elements of my art practice. Some of them are plein air setups, garden sessions (my garden is somewhat important to my practice), exhibition prep, or integrating my art practice with my home life.
