Wasuremono | Skillshare Projects

Sachie Sakai

"Wasuremono" is a Japanese word used for lost or forgotten items, it's literal translation is "forgotten things". I really like this word, so I decided to use it for this project. In Japanese, it's written with two kanjis, or characters, which is why I divided the word into two parts, differentiating them by type style.

When I first discovered hand-lettering, it was something I enjoyed, and as a designer, I tried to see beyond the composition and style that the author chose, and figure out the intention behind them. A few months ago, I started learning and doing hand-lettering myself, which is something I really enjoy doing.

I'm still working on the update, and I will also add my process. Check back later!
